What it does.
Realize Trade follows sports bettors who post their picks publicly on X, records each pick as posted, and grades it against official game data. The picks are the bettors’ own public posts, graded mechanically, and the records are published on the Sharps leaderboard and on each bettor’s page. The Index is a written rule that seats the bettors whose graded records clear its bars. Realize trades the Index on its own Kalshi account, in public; its positions and results are posted there and on the Why we trade it page.
Who runs it.
Layup Inc., a Delaware company, runs Realize Trade and Realize Tax, the filing service for Kalshi and Polymarket traders at realize.tax. Its founder and CEO is Owen Monagan.
